T-REX named Sue

Last week Jace and I went to the Museum of Idaho with his pre school class to see the return of  'A t-rex named Sue.' It's been 10 years since 'Sue' has been to our museum and Jace was super excited to be able to see the most complete bones of a dinosaur ever unearthed!  He even wore a dinosaur shirt for the occasion.  Here is 'Sue' - she was named after the paleontologist that found her (they don't really know if 'she' is male or female). It's hard to tell from this picture but this dinosaur is HUGE!

They had all sorts of fun interactive things for the kids to do besides seeing different dinosaur bones and other fossils.

 Some other dinosaur fossils

They also have a 'kid' area that doesn't change inside the museum  - Jace loved it, every other time we've been to the museum it's been roped off so we haven't been in it before.

This was a fun little field trip but thank goodness I have some friends who have kids in pre school with him - so I have ladies to talk with.  I finally had to bribe Jace with a trip to dad's office if we could please leave the museum -  He'll do anything to get to see dad at work!

  1. He is so cute. I'm so glad you had a boy after your five girls. He looks so much like Zach to me in these pictures! I bet he loved Sue, and so funny you had to bribe him to leave! You are so funny.
