Swing batter batter batter

Jace was able to play on a t-ball team with a group of boys (and a girl) from our ward and from his preschool. He was so excited about playing and for the most part, enjoyed the season. We had a lot of cold windy days but Jace was happy to bundle up and go. Here he is sitting in the dug out waiting for his turn at bat. He's sitting in the middle of two friends, Tyler and Carson. Playing in the grass and dirt is always part of t-ball, right? I guess it was good there was no action at 3rd base.

Running with the ball to put it on the t. Looks like he beat the runner. He had several outs this season by out running the runner to home plate. Way to go bud!!

Every time he made it to a base, he jumped on it! It was pretty funny!

Jace had a great season. Even though he was one of the youngest on the team, he held his own. He would tell us that his team won every game, even if they didn't. On the way home from one of the games, he proudly told Lindsay that he was the best one on the team, and the second best! I'm glad he enjoyed playing. I had a great time visiting with the other moms and I was a bit sad for it to end. Can't wait until next year!
