Several years ago, we had some wonderful friends and neighbors living across the street from us. I don't know how many hours Kristin and I spent sitting on our front porch swing chatting and watching the kids play in the yard. Then in January 2005, they Barkdull family moved back to Utah. We hated to see them go and have only seen them a few times in the years since. Last week, I got an email from them telling me they were coming to Idaho Falls for a visit and we were so excited! They stopped by the house on Sunday for dinner.
From the minute they walked through our door, it was as if it hadn't been so many years, we picked up where we left off and had a fantastic evening with them.

Emily and Kenna B - we always called her Kenna B because we have Kenna and it was just a way for us to know which one we were referring to.

We got to visiting and catching up on everyone and since Brandi and her family doesn't live too far from us, we called them up and had them come over to join the visit

It was a great evening and we were so happy that the Barkdulls were able to come for a short visit. Emily and Kenna acted still, like the best of friends - we sure miss them and hope time doesn't pass too much before we get together again! Thanks Matt and Kristin for including us in your visit to Idaho!
